Small Business Systems & Tech Stacks

Leveraging Technology In Your Business

One of the secrets to scale and growth, is in building business systems,  leveraging technology, software and tools to increase efficiency, save time and automate many of your business processes. You must put together a connected system of tools that gives you a single source of truth, is easy to use and enables data driven decision making. I can help you get this right and even offer my own exclusive software called Leadnamics.com to help you get it right.

Building A Remarkable Business System

The competitive advantage that remarkable small businesses build over their competition revolves around how effectively they embrace business systems, technology, tools and software.

In fact, in my book “Remarkable Business Growth” I share examples of how technology has helped businesses I have worked with out-perform their competitors and drive exponential growth year on year.

The secret is to build a fully “connected” system that allows you to leverage “closed loop” reporting on every element of your business growth. You need a single source of truth at the heart of your business that tracks every contact you have with prospects, leads, customers and partners. In modern businesses this is a piece of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. But your system must be easy to use, so everyone in your team uses it and updates the data on a daily basis, as you need to be able to rely on your data and not question it. Finally your system needs to be able to measure everything and allow you to run reports and dashboards on what is working, what is not working and what can be optimised to work better.

Take your time to build the right system and you will never look back.

Leveraging Technology For Scale

Your Single Source Of Truth

In every business I have owned and worked with over the past 30 years, my focus has been on strategy first. The high strike rate of success and building companies that I have seen can be directly attributed to this one focus and going deep in 12 key areas, to drive all activity going forward.

I encourage you to do the same and over the next three months, sit down each week and go deep on your business in the following 12 areas. Put it down on paper, as something magical happens when we commit our thoughts to paper, build up an A4 folder with 12 sections in it, as I show in the video above. Then do not think of this as a done once process, you will spend the rest of this year executing on your strategy and then re-visit it again next year. Make this a habit and you will never look back. I promise.

Go Be Remarkable!!
